How do I edit the survey workflow? (Step 4)

Modified on Mon, 23 Sep, 2024 at 12:28 PM

Learn how to edit the workflow in Step 4 of your survey.

In Step 4 "Workflows" you can edit the order of your survey forms which are called "Active Forms".

In your workflow you can see the order of your forms. You can easily switch the order via drag and drop by clicking on  and holding whilst moving the tab.
You can add your forms that you have created in Step 3 of your survey or alternatively create a new form. Read more about the creation of an input form here: How do I create a form for my survey? (Step 3)

By clicking on you can edit dependencies between forms. See also How can I set up dependencies between input forms for my survey? (Step 4) to learn how to set dependencies between input forms.

Here you can edit the name of your form and by clicking on  you can delete the form.

⭐ The names of your forms in the workflow are visible to the end user of your survey. Regardless of what you named your form in Step 3, you can now assign it a different name. This can be particularly useful if you wish to use the same form multiple times across different steps of your survey.

In the next step you have the option to add a "Participant Consent".

First, if you want to start your survey by adding a participant consent, activate the first setting.

Next, you need to add a consent description e.g. "I am 18 years of age or older".

Finally, add a consent confirmation text such as "Yes, I consent".
